OAuth Verification: "The application name listed on your OAuth consent screen does not match the application name on your homepage."

Hi team,

I’m in the process of getting OAuth verification for my app. The app name is configured as Outreach, in the Google Cloud Console, however, the consent screens are showing Nylas.com instead. Check screenshot. I’m not sure how to change the name to “Outreach”. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi @kikiriki,

Since you’re using hosted authentication it will default to nylas.com. There is an option to replace the Nylas-branded URL with your own domain but this is only available for contractual customers as an add-on. Here’s our pricing page for more info.

If you’re interested, I’m happy to connect you with an account executive to discuss the commercial terms.

Hi! I’m interested. Can you connect me? My email is [redacted by Nylas]

Hey @kikiriki ,

I’ve ensured a member of the Sales team will be working with you directly to discuss the next steps.

Please let us know if you have any questions in the meantime.

Will Google require us to use our own domain to pass Google’s verification process?

Hello,

Yes, the domain where the auth flow redirects must be added and validated in your Google OAuth app. This is managed under “Authorized Domains” in the OAuth app settings. You can add multiple domains there, so you should be able to resolve this by adding your app’s domain.

Many thanks,
