I’m experiencing an audio quality issue with call recordings, and I’m hoping someone from the community or Nylas team might have insight.
Problem description
At the very beginning of every recorded call, there is a short but noticeable crackling / buzzing noise
This happens systematically on all recordings, regardless of the call content.

The noise occurs only at the start of the recording (first few hundred milliseconds to ~1 second).

The rest of the call audio is clean and sounds normal.

The issue is present even when the call itself sounds fine in real time — it only appears in the recorded file.
What we’ve checked so far

Happens across multiple calls and users

Not related to microphone quality or background noise

Reproducible consistently

Same behavior across different recordings
Expected behavior
The recording should start cleanly, without distortion or crackling at the beginning.
