Google attendee per-instance RSVP updates in recurring series are not reflected for all instances (only first instance updates)

In our ap using Nylas for calendar sync, when we create a recurring event series and invite a Google Calendar attendee, per-instance responses are not consistently reflected. If the attendee accepts only the first instance and declines the remaining instances, we see the correct RSVP only for the first instance. All other instances show **no updated response.

Actual result**

  • Only the first event instance shows the correct attendee response status.

  • All subsequent instances do not reflect the attendee’s accepted/declined response (they appear unchanged / “no response” / stale).

Expected result

Each instance should reflect the attendee’s per-instance RSVP state:

  • Instance #1 = accepted

  • Remaining instances = declined
    …matching what Google Calendar shows.
