Hi!
We are currently facing issues with some IMAP providers blocking the send requests of our customers in Germany. Sepcifically GMX and Web.DE are not allowing send requests from Nylas IPs as they were flagged as spam…
82.165.159.4
and
82.165.159.45
Are examples of that.
Has anyone faced similiar issues? We already tried contacting the providers and they said they can’t do anything because the IPs are actively misused for spam.
Hello,
Nylas does not send emails, but uploads them to the user’s email server for actual sending just like if you sent from a mobile email client. This allows all of the email validation records such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC to be maintained for maximum deliverability.
This also means that any IP blocks are likely pointed to the sender’s email server. I reviewed the two IPs you posted and they do not belong to Nylas, but belong to email providers. Please have the senders raise this to their email administrators to get them unblocked.
